Our leader, Scott J. Helfer, has spent over a decade in the insurance business. Before becoming a part of the Brightway family, Scott worked in the financial field right out of college, then moved full steam ahead into the insurance world. Scott ran a small independent agency managing Property and Casualty agents and Life & Health agents for several years. He enjoyed the business but knew there must be a better way. He knew that serving the public with a full range of insurance products under one roof while shopping the rates with dozens of "A" rated carriers was the key to success. Brightway was the answer to getting the right policies at the right price, and our customers agree. We proudly serve Ponte Vedra Beach, Jacksonville Beach, and surrounding areas in greater Jacksonville.

Scott has been in the Jacksonville area specifically the beaches for the past fifteen years, graduating from University of North Florida with a business degree. He is Active in the Chamber of Commerce, the Rotary club, and Alumni Association of UNF and other charitable associations. Scott currently holds a Florida General Lines and Life, Health, & Variable Annuity licenses.
