Steve Canty is a knowledgeable, 34 year veteran of the insurance industry. As a former claims executive, he continues to educate consumers through speaking engagements on a variety of insurance topics from “personal risk management” to “cost-effective insurance buying.” Steve feels that educating the consumer is essential in stabilizing Florida’s insurance marketplace.

Steve is one of a handful of Certified Insurance Counselors (CIC) in North Florida. The CIC is the premier professional designation for insurance agents requiring annual intensive training. He also holds an Associate in Risk Management (ARM) and the Senior Claim Law Associate (SCLA) designations. He is an active community supporter through organizations such as Leadership Jacksonville, Beaches Business Association, Beaches Business Network, Art With A Heart In Healthcare and the Sulzbacher Homeless Center.

Steve, his wife & partner Rita, and their family live in Jacksonville’s intra-coastal west area and are also 20 year homeowners in Palm Coast, Florida.
